This month, the SynBio Coalition announced Synonym Biotechnologies as the newest member, bringing the growing coalition to a total of 12 leading companies and universities nationwide.
Synonym, a New York City-based biomanufacturing company, is a financing and development platform for biomanufacturing infrastructure to enable sustainable food, materials, and energy production.
SynBio Weighs in to Support CHIPS- Plus Bill
As CHIPS-Plus continues to move through the Legislative process, the SynBio Coalition has weighed in with their statement of support for two key provisions: The Endless Frontier Act and the Bioeconomy Research & Development Act. Upon President Biden’s signature, this bill will represent significant progress for the synthetic biology industry and our economy nationwide. By creating more opportunities for synthetic biology to play an active role in supporting and expanding new research opportunities at the federal level.
